Each of Dollar, Burns, Becker & Hershewe’s attorneys have been named to this year’s Super Lawyers. This highly sought after award is handed out yearly. Only five percent of attorneys are selected to Super Lawyers, and only 2.5 percent are named Rising Stars.

Jeff Burns – Super Lawyers Honoree and Top 100 in Missouri & Kansas/Top 50 in Kansas City. This is Jeff’s 15th year being selected.
Tom Hershewe – Super Lawyers Honoree.
JJ Burns – Rising Star Honoree.
Jill Kanatzar – Super Lawyers Honoree.
Rachel Stahle – Rising Star Honoree.
Josh Becker – Rising Star Honoree.
To be selected to Super Lawyers, attorneys must first be nominated by their peers. From there, the attorneys are evaluated based on 12 indicators of professional achievement and peer recognition. These include – verdicts and settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors/awards, special licenses/certifications, position with firm, bar and/or professional activity, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures/writings, education/employment background, and other outstanding achievements.
Candidates are then evaluated by a Blue Ribbon Panel, who selects each year’s honorees.
