Attorney Rachel Stahle appeared on the national broadcast of Fox & Friends. During the segment, Rachel discusses her suit, the first lawsuit filed against Riverbend Post Acute Rehabilitation Center, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in Kansas.
Rachel was hired by the family of Okey Long, a family man who went to Riverbend for rehab, but ending up losing his life due to COVD-19. Thus far 27 people associated with this facility have lost their lives. Another 94 residents and 25 staff members have tested positive.
In addition to sharing why the family decided to file a lawsuit for negligence, Rachel discusses how some states are requiring nursing homes to admit new residents who has tested positive for the virus.
