Dollar, Burns, Becker & Hershewe recently announced the hiring of attorney Josh Becker. He will be a part of the firm’s truck crash, bad faith and catastrophic injury practice groups.
Becker began his legal career learning the ins and outs of personal injury litigation by defending the types of businesses and insurance companies he will now prosecute. By knowing how insurance companies evaluate and defend cases, and the tactics they use, Becker will use this information to hold companies accountable in truck crash, bad faith and catastrophic injury cases. He successfully tried multiple cases to a jury in both state and federal courts.
Becker previously worked at Sanders Warren Russell & Scheer LLP in Overland Park, Kan. In addition, he was a law clerk for Judge Brian C. Wimes at the U.S. District Court of Western District of Missouri and Chief Judge James E. Welsh at the Missouri Court of Appeals – Western District.
Becker earned his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Kansas.
