Dollar Helps KC Wolf Reach Settlement

October 31, 2014

Dan Meers, better known as the Kansas City Chiefs’ mascot, KC Wolf, suffered serious injuries while rehearsing a zipline routine during the 2013 season. Tim Dollar represented him. On August 21, 2014 Meers reached a settlement agreement with those involved.

Meers has been KC Wolf since the mascot’s inception 24 years ago. Although the injuries were critical and severe, Meers is expected to recover, and is in discussions with the KC Chiefs about a modified role as the mascot going forward.

Dollar, explained that, “As part of the agreement, the amount of the settlement and the parties involved in the case are confidential. The matter has been resolved to everyone’s satisfaction and we are delighted Dan can continue recovery without the burden of a trial.”
